Resolving Analytics Data Issues in Widgion

3 mins read ยท Updated Nov 5, 2026

Learn how to troubleshoot missing, incorrect, or delayed analytics data in Widgion.

If your Widgion Analytics dashboard displays missing metrics, unexpected values, or charts that are not loading data, here are some common issues to check and how to resolve them.

Analytics Metrics Showing Zero

If metrics such as total conversations, messages, searches, likes, or dislikes show zero unexpectedly, first check the selected date range. The analytics dashboard only displays data for the period selected.

Make sure the activity you are looking for occurred within that period. Also, remember that different metrics track different activities, so a zero value does not necessarily indicate an analytics error.

Charts Displaying "Waiting For Data"

Some analytics charts may display a "Waiting For Data" message alongside a prompt to add the feature to your app.

This can happen when the corresponding feature has not been added to your app or has not recorded any activity. Check that the relevant feature, such as your Help Center, FAQ, or News & Release, is available in your app.

Once the feature is available and users begin interacting with it, check the analytics again.

Missing or Inconsistent Analytics Data

If the numbers displayed in your analytics dashboard do not match your expectations, check that you are comparing the same date range across the relevant sections.

Also, make sure you are comparing equivalent metrics. For example, total conversations and total messages represent different activities and will not necessarily have the same values.

If the discrepancy persists, capture the affected metrics and the date range so they can be investigated.

Missing Knowledge Base Analytics

If your Knowledge Base Analytics page does not display the expected article, user, collection, search, or feedback data, check that your Help Center is available in your app.

You can also review the Articles, Users, Collections, Search, and Feedback sections to identify where the missing data occurs. If a particular section has no recorded activity, its charts may remain empty.

FAQ or News & Release Analytics Not Updating

If searches, search click-through rates, zero-result rates, likes, or dislikes are missing, confirm that the relevant FAQ or News & Release feature has been added to your app.

Check the selected date range and whether users have interacted with the feature during that period. Analytics for these sections depend on activity being recorded.
